Our wider goals - We want to support more people to learn about and enjoy the nature around them, with the ability to monitor the health of their local rivers, soils and wildlife using simple and affordable tools, through citizen science projects.
Our aim is to help people collect knowledge about the nature on their doorstep and share those findings with governments, businesses and institutions, making sure decisions are based on evidence and the needs of local communities and the environment.
Education
We seek to embed outdoor learning and environmental sciences in school education across the UK, with a focus on equitable access to green spaces and opportunities for those in underserved communities.
Stretching from school life through to green career choices and early-career scientists, we provide knowledge, resources, hands-on learning experiences and confidence to all. Together we can equip the next generation to become change makers for our planet.

We help students build a strong connection to nature and use their voices to drive solutions-based approaches to environmental challenges. These skills and experiences are essential in creating inclusive pathways to the green careers that are needed to tackle the climate crisis.
The Green Earth School follow up project - Growing Together, allows us to help students deepen these nature connections.
Pollution, climate change, and over-exploitation have brought our freshwater systems to crisis point. Many rivers are no longer fit to swim in and nature is suffering.
These resources introduce the importance of freshwater ecosystems and the power of citizen science testing. Whilst providing fun water centred student activities. Helping teachers introduce a difficult topic in an empowering way.
Earthwatch Europe are part of the Climate Adapted Parthways for Education Alliance, working with researchers, educators, schools, and partners across the UK to change today's education for tomorrow's climate.
We’re proud to be a supporter the Nature Premium Campaign, collectively calling for the government to introduce a Nature Premium to guarantee regular time in nature for ALL children and young people, with additional funding and support for those who need it most. We urgently need a Nature Premium to help our children Grow Up Greener.
