Climate-proof Cities C: Natural History

How can beavers help the environment?

Climate-Proof Cities: Natural History

Join us for our twelfth week of Wild Days, where we will be exploring how big and small actions can make our towns and cities more sustainable.
Today we are joined by the fantastic Beavers Trust to learn lots more about how beavers can help improve natural environments and protect cities and resources.

We will be:
  • Hearing from Eva at the Beavers Trust all about why beavers are important
  • Building our own beaver dam
  • Creating beaver masks
  • Exploring the many functions of a beaver's tail.

To hear more about the fantastic work of the Beavers Trust you can visit their website here. You can also stay up to date by following them on Instagram and Facebook.

Our resources were created especially to help you spot the wildlife on your doorstep. If you do spot anything, remember to tag us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram and use #WildDays in your post!
