When the Department for Education launched their Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy, one of the most exciting initiatives, the National Education Nature Park, stood out as the opportunity to learn about nature on school grounds across England.
It is now almost time to join the National Education Nature Park, so education settings from nurseries to colleges are invited to accept the Hidden Nature Challenge. It is an opportunity to get to know the platform which will be used for the initiative, and trial some of the activities that will support nature monitoring and data collection from across the school grounds.
Head outdoors on Wednesday 4th October, and use the ArcGIS platform to record even the smallest signs of nature!
