Big Schools’ Birdwatch is back for 2025! Join thousands of other schools to find out which birds visit your school grounds.
This is a great opportunity to get students from all ages and backgrounds engaged in the natural environment without leaving your school grounds! All students are able to succeed in this accessible, inclusive activity. Children have the chance to use scientific and observation skills included in the national curriculum and submitting the results via the website is super easy, allowing your findings to be added to a large research bank!
All the resources support curriculum learning, including providing you with historical records of Big Schools’ Birdwatch, so you can compare what you see. All resources are available bilingually for schools in Wales.
The last day for sending us your results is 24 February 2025.
